When we can simplify our understanding of our inner world, it makes change easier. Simply stated, much of people's low self-esteem comes from thoughts that are often some form of “I’m not okay,” or “My life isn't not okay” (or you could change that to the words that fit for you). Because of the difficulties in your life, those thoughts may seem valid. However, that type of negative thinking often makes you feel worse.

Consider which of these possibilities is true for you:

  • At the deepest level, you are not okay. If you think this is true for you, in our sessions, you will learn methods to change that.
  • or

  • Even though you may have challenges in life and about yourself (including physical challenges and/or disease) at the deepest level there is even some small sense of well-being—whatever you would call that—and perhaps you have covered that up with thoughts and feelings rooted in some form of “I’m not okay,” or “My life isn't not okay”

While those thoughts may be based on your observations of yourself and your life, often we amplify or distort those negative thoughts. This is not claiming that everything is okay. You have had experiences of being indoors, protected from a storm outside. Similarly, while there may be “storms” in your life, there can be a deeper, inner level at which there is some feeling of well-being, even though that may have previously seemed hidden or unaccessible.

I will show you a simple way to let go of negative thinking that is distorted, amplified, or otherwise untrue, and to shift to a body-felt sense of well-being. This practice is so simple, you can do it even in the midst of activity while your eyes are open. This can help resolve:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem
  • Fear
  • Anger
  • Negative, distracting, or obsessive thoughts
  • Body tension
  • Past trauma
  • Life difficulties

This can lead to:

  • Deeper self love
  • Increased well-being
  • Clearer thinking
  • Inner peace
  • More energy, strength, and empowerment
  • More effective actions
  • Improved personal relationships

Through three to four individual sessions, you learn a simple way to experience more happiness and inner strength on a daily basis. My goal is for each session to result in noticeable, positive change. We individualize the procedure to best fit your needs.
